He subsequently competed in the Daytona 24 Hours and also in the legendary 24-hour race at the N\u00fcrburgring. Together with Frank Stippler, he won the ADAC GT Masters race at the N\u00fcrburgring. In 2009, he finished fourth in the 24-hour race at the Ring with Uwe Alzen in a Porsche. In 2012, he took third place there with a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3.
