Grand Meeting FAQ
Answers about tickets, parking, travel, rules and services for the Grand Meeting
We have summarised all frequently asked questions in this FAQ in three categories for you.

Tickets & Admission
Due to a safety concept required by the authorities, there will be a maximum number of visitors per day in 2026. Online advance sales allow demand to be monitored early on each day; if demand is high, this will be indicated. Days may actually be sold out in advance. Tiered pricing makes early purchases even more attractive.
If possible, buy tickets in advance: this reduces waiting times and is cheaper than buying them at the box office. Online tickets are available as PDF/QR codes or for your smartphone wallet. Tickets are also checked at the entrance – the ‘fast lane’ works best with a ticket.
PayPal and credit cards (VISA, AMEX, Mastercard) are accepted in the online shop. Apple Pay works with Safari, Google Pay appears with Chrome (logged-in Google account). Prepayment with instant payment is also possible. Tickets come as QR codes (PDF) or in wallet format.
If box offices are available, tickets can be paid for with VISA, Mastercard and AMEX (if available); cash payments are also possible. EC cash machines are available on site. Those who wish to purchase tickets online at the entrance can pay via QR code in the shop (credit card, advance payment with instant payment, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay – depending on the browser).
Tickets are also available at the box office (while supplies last). In addition, you can purchase tickets online using a QR code at the entrance. Advance sales are recommended to reduce waiting times. However, tickets for certain days may actually be sold out in advance.
Yes. For visitors with disabilities, the ‘reduced tickets’ always apply to people with a disability rating of at least 50% (proof required).
Children up to the age of 10 are admitted free of charge. Children aged 11 to 16 pay a fixed admission price; those aged 17 and over pay the adult price.
Reduced prices apply upon presentation of a pupil or student ID card or proof of approval from the Arge. Please bring the relevant proof with you.
The organiser may also carry out ticket checks after admission. Tickets must therefore be carried and presented on request. Day tickets are validated electronically upon admission.
The daily opening hours of the ticket office are also the times when entry to the grounds is permitted. Entry is not possible before the ticket office opens; illegally parked vehicles will be towed away.
You can find more information about opening hours here.
No separate paddock passes are required. Access may be restricted for fire safety reasons; safety takes precedence.
Parking & Access
Recommended arrival via A46 (Neuss-Holzheim), A57 (Büttgen), B230 (from Mönchengladbach) or L361 (from Grevenbroich-Kapellen). Please follow the signs and do not use a satnav. Parking tickets for everyday vehicles and classic cars are available in the shop.
Vehicles built before 1996 (30 years old) are permitted access; modern classics/“classics of tomorrow” will be admitted at our discretion, where possible, without guarantee. Tickets must be purchased in advance and presented upon entry; arriving in a classic car does not entitle you to free admission.
Yes. According to the FAQ, the same rules apply to motorcycles and scooters as to cars: vintage two-wheelers built before 1996 are allowed to enter and will be assigned parking spaces. Please bring your own stabilisers!
Classic car parking spaces are located closer to the festival site at Rittergut Birkhof; there is a large lawn area (60,000 m²) above Kastanien-Allee. Arriving early ensures close parking spaces; if necessary, alternative parking will be provided in the everyday car park. A parking ticket is required for classic cars/modern classics/clubs.
The main car parks are located south between Epsendorf and Lüttenglehn near the L361 (car park ‘S’, with shuttle service) and north near Neuss-Kaarst-Büttgen (car park ‘N’, within walking distance). A parking ticket is required for both field car parks; parking tickets are only available in advance from the shop.
E-scooters, scooters and city scooters are generally not permitted, nor are golf carts and Segways. Please plan your mobility accordingly.
According to the FAQ, modern (non-vintage) motorcycles and scooters must only be parked in the parking spaces for everyday vehicles. Please bring your own stabilisers to ensure stability!
