A large number of talented photographers have been accompanying the Classic Days for several years now, capturing people, vehicles and the atmosphere during the motor festival in outstanding pictures.
Frank Becker
He combines three things that go together very well. He has been taking photographs since he was 11 years old, is a former car mechanic and has a passion for sports cars and classic cars.
Other subjects include landscapes, architecture and event photography. He particularly enjoys converting images to black and white and printing them. His main job also involves a lot of printing. Today, his laboratory is his PC and printer, where he creates selected fine art prints. Due to his proximity to the event, he has known Classic Days since its inception. His motto is ‘The eye makes the picture, not the camera,’ which is why he pays attention to details that are often overlooked.
Günter Biener

Ralph Lüker
His enthusiasm for cars and motorsport has lasted for over 30 years. The first race he photographed live, back then as a spectator, was the 1976 German Formula 1 Grand Prix at the Nürburgring. Since then, he has been hooked on photographing car races. Today, he mainly accompanies historic motorsport events with his camera and photographs collector cars with great passion. His focus is often on the beauty of detail, and recognising small special features makes photography exciting time and time again.
Claus Riensche und Ralf Kruchen
For two generations, the name ‘atelier riensche’ has stood for quality in graphic design and communication. Since 2003, ‘motorsport-photo-service’ has complemented the creative range of services. What began over 25 years ago as a passionate hobby has developed over the years into a professional commitment. In addition to motifs from all kinds of race tracks, the archive is enriched by the wide field of classic car events such as the ‘Mille Miglia’.
Thomas Rogasch
He bought his first SLR camera when he was 12 years old. Over the course of three decades, he developed his own approach, which he summarises as follows: ‘make the familiar strange; make the strange familiar’. He now increasingly photographs and presents 3D and 360-degree panoramas. Influenced in his younger years by legendary drivers such as Stuck, Mass and Röhrl, Rogasch is a founding member of the Kadett-C-Club Kaiserslautern e.V., whose Easter meetings are legendary. The club commemorates Walter Röhrl’s rally successes in an Opel Kadett C GTE.
Peter Singhof
Our most international and most experienced car phtographer in the group of Classic Days Partner Photographers. Peter is where the world-top-cars are. Take the Ferrari Concours „Cavallino Classic“ in Florida, Pebble Beach, Goodwood or Mille Miglia. Working for all of the prestigious and succesful car-magazines Peter is known by the collectors and museums, the worksteams and event-people. His perfect eye on the scenery, a wonderful understanding for the grace and dignity of cars and the destinguished capturer of the moment in a camera lense… Peters photographs excite everyone.
Herbert Steves
For the man who often commutes between the racetrack and his hometown, photography is both a challenge and a passion. The combination of creativity and technology is what makes photography exciting for him – and has done so for 35 years. Since taking his first pictures at the Nürburgring, motorsport photography has been Steve’s top priority, and over the last 15 years he has increasingly focused on classic cars. His pictures have appeared in books, (international) magazines and calendars.
André Strucken
He has been interested in motorsport since the mid-1970s. In 1980, he began regularly attending racing events and taking photographs. In addition to current and historic racing events, he has archived many photographs of road sports cars, convertibles, prototypes and classic cars. All important data is stored in a comprehensive database, so that even unusual motifs can be found very quickly, if available.
