Today – 3 August – the festival Sunday, the Grand Meeting attracts visitors to the Rittergut Birkhof in 41352 Korschenbroich. With temperatures between 24 and 26 degrees, we look forward to welcoming many visitors, strollers, picnickers and motorsport fans.
The Classic Days have a lot to offer, and yesterday’s comments were full of joy about the return to a romantic natural location and the diversity of the vehicles on display. The grids on the circuit showcase the entire spectrum of motorsport, from the Heritage Heroes from 1910 to the vehicles of the Modern period in eight different vehicle tableaux. The VW Beetle race thrills spectators with the VW W30 prototype from 1936 and 19 other VW Volkswagens – each one truly special.
The Green House – the old greenhouse on the manor estate – houses the JDMs, the Japan Domestic Market vehicles and the complete series of all original Fast & Furious film vehicles. Paul Walker’s original Nissan GT R is also on display. And a Honda NSX and so much more…
Also in the Green House, VW is presenting the new ID. Every1 to the public for the first time – following a vehicle presentation in March that was previously only available to the media. The battery-electric Volkswagen ID. Every 1 will be available from 2027 and will cost less than £20,000. Volkswagen is showing it to us all for the first time at the Classic Days. Great. The Classic Days are thus also a glimpse into the future.
We are too, because today – at 12:20 p.m. – we will be holding another ‘Fuel Talk’ in the courtyard of the manor house under the headline ‘Driven2Change’. It’s definitely worth coming along to hear how far companies such as Aramco, Bosch, Shell, Neste, Coryton and Aspen have already progressed in the development of alternative fuels. Our classic cars – but also our existing vehicles, i.e. our everyday vehicles with combustion engines – could already be easily operated with a climate-neutral fuel. More on this in the talk. By the way, all listeners will also receive the official Classic Days cap as a giveaway.
So, have fun visiting Classic Days on Sunday. Let’s go to the biggest and craziest classic car garden party. Tickets can also be purchased quickly online on your way there. We can promise you: it’s worth it!
