Some people have two passions. Katrin Becker is one such person. She is Director of Business & Data Strategy at CGI – and also one of Germany’s most successful rally co-drivers.

And when you ask her how it all fits together, she tells it like it is:
“Rally driving is as much a part of me as the other half of my heart.”
German champion, five-time national champion
and a woman who lives and breathes rallying
Having grown up in Schlitz – the epicentre of what was then the Hessen Rally – her father, a co-founder of AC Schlitz and a rally driver himself, instilled in her a passion for the sport from a very young age. Much to her mother’s chagrin, as she herself laughs. Her first taste of proper rallying came in 2000: she made her debut as a co-driver at the ADAC Rallye Deutschland – a broken driveshaft brought the adventure to an end after just the second special stage. But Katrin Becker was a quick learner.
What followed was a career to be proud of. She won the German 2WD title, became a five-time Austrian national champion and stood at the top of the podium at the Wales Rally GB as part of the Junior World Rally Championship. Since 2019, she has formed a well-established partnership with Philip Geipel in the Škoda Fabia – and 2022 saw the highlight of her career in modern rallying: At the 58th ADAC Knaus Tabbert 3-Städte-Rallye, the pair clinched the German Rally Championship title after a spectacular comeback in the rain – by a single point, secured in the final special stages. A heart-stopping finale that motorsport could not have scripted any better.
Then came the turning point – and it came in the form of a classic Porsche. Since early 2026, Katrin Becker has been driving only classic cars. At the Tour Auto 2026, she immediately proved that this decision was spot on: as Florian Feustel’s co-driver, she navigated 2,200 kilometres from Paris to Biarritz – in a 1970 Porsche 911 S/R 2.3 Rallye Monte Carlo – to class victory and fourth place overall. Precision, finesse and the ability to read a car and its driver in any situation – all there, all flawless.
From that moment on, it was clear to us: this wonderful, charming woman belongs at the Grand Meeting 2026. This autumn, she’ll be competing in the Modena Cento Ore – yet another highlight in a year that’s all hers.
