Luca Ludwig is set to attend the Grand Meeting 2026 with his father, ‘King Ludwig’

But Luca Ludwig made a conscious decision to take his time. When he made that decision, he was absolutely certain of it.
A king’s son, a self-made master
He only took up racing after finishing school, at the age of 19 – and competed in his first car race on the Nürburgring Nordschleife in September 2008. By then, others had already spent years competing in karting and formula series. Luca Ludwig took a different approach – and got it right.
In 2009, three race wins and numerous podium finishes at the wheel of a Callaway Competition Corvette saw him finish as runner-up in the ADAC GT Masters. A year later, in 2010, he won the inaugural German GT Championship with Abt Sportsline. This was followed in 2015 by victory in the ADAC GT Masters Championship – the title that cemented his place among the elite of German GT racing. In 2020, he secured a class victory at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.
Today, Luca Ludwig is not only a racing driver, but also an instructor in the Mercedes and Ferrari paddocks and a brand ambassador – an ambassador for motorsport who has inherited his father’s passion and put his own unique stamp on it.
Luca Ludwig will be taking part in the Grand Meeting 2026 as part of the “Next Generation – Daughters & Sons of Speed” – from 31 July to 2 August at Rittergut Birkhof.
